Michele L. A. Rollins, Esquire, affectionately known to friends and family as “L. A.” is President of L. A. & Associates Realty Inc., a full service Real Estate Agency headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. The Agency focuses primarily in the areas of Residential Real Estate with a wide and diverse client background, including commercial clientele. Michele has over 25 years of combined real estate, legal, public relations, government relations & communications experience working with various local Jacksonville businesses, government entities and individual clients.

Additionally, as a Florida licensed Attorney at Law and Florida Supreme Court Circuit Court Certified Mediator and Arbitrator, Michele’s law practice L. A. Law P. A. focuses on Real Estate Law and Employment Law, representing clients in a variety of real estate matters, including contract disputes, closings, landlord/tenant matters, land acquisition & development purchases, foreclosure litigation on behalf of Corporate clients as well as homeowner defense litigation including negotiating loan modifications and short sales. Michele is also certified as a Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator and has mediated in hundreds of foreclosure cases statewide.

Before forming L. A. & Associates Realty Inc. & L. A. Law PA, Michele worked with a local PR Agency as Director of Government & Public Affairs, where she managed the agency’s real estate clients and key public affairs clients, supervised the public relations department staff and interns, and was responsible for all accounting, billing, projections, invoicing and collections. Prior to that role, Michele was employed with a national Home Builder/Developer, where she held a variety of positions including Regional Director of Government and Community Affairs, Real Estate Land Acquisitions Manager, Operations Manager and Closing Manager. In the latter two positions, she was directly responsible for managing in excess of $240 million dollars annually in real estate sales and closings, by running the daily units department and overseeing all sales contracts, permitting and closings. In the early part of her career, Michele’s entry into the real estate world came when she worked for a real estate appraiser assisting in appraisals of properties. Additionally, she subsequently she worked for a local real estate investment agency in Atlanta Georgia, where she was responsible for acquisitions of dilapidated properties and their subsequent rehabilitation, by interacting and serving as liaison with local banks and other financial institutions.

In her spare time, Michele loves to serve as a pro bono volunteer when time permits with the Juvenile Justice Dependency Program in the Fourth Judicial Circuit where she has worked on cases covering emergency hearings, representing abused, abandoned or neglected children in Dependency Court litigating and negotiating on behalf of minor child clients.

Michele holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Georgia, School of Law with a minor concentration in Sport Law Management as well as Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science & Criminal Justice from Georgia State University.
